Dream Fragments
Marilyn Buck
[This poem is read by Marilyn Buck. ]
I don’t remember my dreams
fragments swirl and disappear
I’m mired in nightmares
the national security state
keeps files on the imagination
dreams go underground
seek subterranean beds
water beneath iron-streaked stone
