Herman Bell, Anthony "Jalil" Bottom and Albert "Nuh" Washington (collectively known as the New York 3) are former members of the Black Panther Party and the Black Liberation Army who were convicted in 1975 of the assassination of two New York City police officers (Waverly Jones and Joseph Piagentini). They were sentenced to 25 years to life. That's all the state of New York and the government of the United States would have you know and believe the New York 3 are.
