This is an interview with Jose Angel Gutierrez from the Raza Unida Convention after the election. The questions posed focus on: What was the reason for not endorsing a Presidential or Vice presidential candidate? According to Gutierrez, the idea was proposed by two Chicano delegates who refused to be bought or sold. “We like ourselves much better! We have the beginning of a structure, we got this far unorganized, now we’re united. The Congress will give power to any issues which will come up. Cabral was assassinated by the CIA and Portuguese colonialists in 1973.
