Excellent interview with Warren Wells in 1973 in Folsom Prison done by Mark Schwartz. He talks about his own politicization, life inside, political prisoners, the Black Panther Party inside, need to build support for prisoners like Geronimo Pratt and Ruchell Magee, the San Quentin Six and others. Great quality and very important in addressing the prison movement of the 1970s. Warren Wells died in prison in June, 2001.

Abuse at Corcoran State Prison
A protest held in front of the offices of Dan Lungren, then-Attorney General of California, addresses abuse at Corcoran State Prison. Speakers include Catherine Campbell, president of California Prison Focus, the father of a prisoner killed in Corcoran’s exercise yard, and members of Barrios Unidos, an organization committed to ending gang warfare.

He also mentions gun control and the enhancement of legal penalties for gang members or suspected gang members. Side B is Natalie Salazar, the Civilian Director for the LA County Sheriffs Department. Her presentation "Community Projects" is about combating gangs. She discusses tagging and drugs and how they can lead to gang activity, bringing a law enforcement perspective to the issue.
