Speakers focus dialogue on the legality of death penalty and how it is completely incommensurate to the Olympic game ideal. Sane notes countries with high crime like South Africa, Brazil, Sri Lanka, and Senegal that do not use the death penalty, Joseph Lowry speaks on the inequity and iniquity of the death penalty and how it specifically targets racial and economic minorities. Steven Bride shares specific examples of the injustice of the death penalty such as the execution of two juvenile children who were deemed mentally retarded before execution.
