The terror of the El Salvador government’s armed forces from 1980 to 1990 is discussed. The discussion centers around the murder of the Arch Bishop of Oscar Ramiro and other members of the clergy within the Catholic church. The Catholic church’s alleged connection to the Salvadoran Armed Opposition (FMLN), through its assistance to the poor that had been ravaged by government bombings, is also examined. Judy Jensen,of the Material Aid Campaign for ZANU (Zimbabwe African National Union) is interviewed about raising support in America for revolutionary struggles in Africa. A passionate anti-imperialist, she speaks about the wrongs being done to Africans, particularly those in Southern Africa. She aims to educate Americans on the revolutionary struggles in Africa, and to teach them about anti-Apartheid goals. She details the measures and protests the Material Aid Campaign for ZANU will use to achieve their objectives. She speaks about war in Central America, and about American political consciousness, saying that people are slowly realizing the American government’s aggressive and imperialist nature.
Side B contains an interview between two women. They discuss the problems facing Zimbabwe, such as land issues and dwindling resources. Next, the provincial secretary for the ZANU Women’s League, Eastern Province, is interviewed about the organization’s work for the Zimbabwean elections and their work in the provinces. Lastly, several women speak about problems getting material and supplies in Zimbabwe, expressing their thoughts on the newly independent Zimbabwe, and their hope for more equality between men and women.

A very interesting and inspiring interview between two friends brought together by their similarities after many years of highlighting their differences. CP Ellis was the Exalted Cyclops of the Durham, NC, Ku Klux Klan when he met Ann Atwater, a militant black community organizer. They were elected to organize the public school system through the AFL-CIO. While there was much hostility to their interactions, they soon learned that they shared many of the same problems as working/lower class citizens struggling in an impoverished school district. Their friendship grew from this connection and led Ellis to leave the KKK. He talks about the hardships he faced as a result of this.
Also interviewed is Osha Gray Davidson author of The Best of Enemies: Race and Redemption in the New South a book about the two’s friendship. This book was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for History in 1997.

This video contains footage of the Brian Wilson Incident. On September 1, 1987, nonviolent activists, primarily from the religious community and Veterans For Peace, gathered at the Concord Naval Weapons Station to announce the commencement of a fast and to attempt to block a train shipment of arms headed for Central America. The train, which was notified of their presence does not stop and runs over activist Brian Wilson. It was later determined that the train was ordered not stop. Brian Wilson survived the incident, suffering the loss of his legs and severe skull fracture. He continues his antiwar activism. This video contains gruesome imagery of the incident and its immediate aftermath.
