On September 15th, explore with us a history of repression with a documentary on the organizing, trial, and Oakland FBI bombing of activist Judi Bari. The Forest for the Trees documents a piece of U.S. history that grows increasingly resonant as the lines between dissent and terrorism are intentionally blurred, exploring Bari as an Earth First! leader who was one of the first to place as much importance on timber workers’ lives and families as she did on the legacy and future of the trees. Watch the trailer here.
