Gaza (Quds News Network) – Abu Obaida, the spokesperson for the Izz ad-Din
al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of the Hamas movement, declared
tonight that the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle on October 7 has set the course for
the demise of the Israeli occupation.

In a recorded statement aired by Al Jazeera, Abu Obaida remarked, “We live
the pains and hopes of our Palestinian people after 83 days of the Al-Aqsa
Flood Battle. We have been fighting for years to wage [this battle] for the
sake of our people and our land.”

“We told the world that we are a people seeking justice and freedom. We
continued to prepare and fight because we know that rights are not granted
but rather taken, and we delivered the Zionist enemy the blow of the
century on October 7th,” he added.

Regarding urban battles with the invading Israeli troops in Gaza, Abu
Obaida explained, “We have targeted more than 825 military vehicles since
the beginning of the aggression on Gaza. Our fighters have carried out
special operations to re-detonate the occupation’s own ammunition into
their [armored] vehicles and soldiers, and we have targeted three of their
helicopters.”

He stated that the al-Qassam fighters are creating a unique epic using all
available means. Abu Obaida specifically mentioned the targeting of three
enemy helicopters in the past two days, during which the Al-Qassam fighters
utilized unexploded enemy ammunition. “The al-Qassam Brigade utilized
numerous images documenting the targeting of the enemy’s soldiers and
vehicles. This is just the tip of the iceberg.”

Abu Obaida emphasized, “We targeted three enemy helicopters in the past two
days. There will be no exchange deals until a complete cessation of the
aggression.”

He stated that “Gaza has exposed all the institutions of lies carrying the
sword of human rights against oppressed peoples. Our people will emerge
victorious and proud, sharing the same trench and the same piece of bread
and the same drink of water. ”

Abu Obaida criticized the official world, saying the world’s governments
are “divided between oppressive criminals and helpless spectators.”

“It is a struggle for victory or martyrdom,” he concluded.
