STAND UP FOR HAITI: a benefit for the Haiti Emergency Relief Fund

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2011  2 to 5PM

Join DANNY GLOVER, BOOTS RILEY of The Coup, AUGUST COLLINS, Blues 
Hall of Famer and other guests at the renowned Everett & Jones 
Barbeque in Oakland's Jack London Square for an afternoon of music, 
inspiring words, food, and fellowship.

Come hear an update on the struggles and accomplishments of the 
grassroots movement in Haiti in the face of the ongoing war against 
the poor. The Haiti Emergency Relief Fund works in solidarity with 
people in Haiti who are striving to rebuild their lives, reclaim 
their democracy and self determination.

All the funds raised at this special event will go towards HERF's 
work of supporting community-based projects in the areas of 
education, health care, women's organizing, food production, and human rights.
