STAND UP FOR HAITI: a benefit for the Haiti Emergency Relief Fund
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2011 2 to 5PM

126 Broadway Street
Oakland (Jack London Square)
Join DANNY GLOVER, BOOTS RILEY of The Coup, AUGUST COLLINS, Blues
Hall of Famer and other guests at the renowned Everett & Jones
Barbeque in Oakland's Jack London Square for an afternoon of music,
inspiring words, food, and fellowship.
Come hear an update on the struggles and accomplishments of the
grassroots movement in Haiti in the face of the ongoing war against
the poor. The Haiti Emergency Relief Fund works in solidarity with
people in Haiti who are striving to rebuild their lives, reclaim
their democracy and self determination.
All the funds raised at this special event will go towards HERF's
work of supporting community-based projects in the areas of
education, health care, women's organizing, food production, and human rights.
