[Ppnews] Carlos Alberto Torres parole hearing 5/26

Puerto Rican political prisoner Carlos Alberto Torres is scheduled to 
see the U.S. Parole Commission on May 26, 2009. He has served 29 
years in prison, which makes him the longest held Puerto Rican 
political prisoner since the U.S. occupation of Puerto Rico in 1898. 
He will face the parole commission, buoyed by the thousands of 
letters of support sent from Puerto Rico and all corners of the 
United States and Mexico.
