The Hamas movement said that the ongoing violations against Palestinian
detainees demand immediate action from the United Nations, the
international community, and human rights and humanitarian organizations.
They called for an end to the war crimes being committed by the occupation
and for those responsible to be held accountable.
In a statement, the Hamas movement condemned the ongoing horrific
violations against the courageous Palestinian detainees

labeling them as war crimes and crimes against humanity. The movement
highlighted that several detainees were transferred directly from the
occupation’s prisons to hospitals to receive medical treatment for the
abuse and torture they endured.
*Al Mayadeen*'s correspondent in Gaza reported that the detainees released
as part of the prisoner exchange deal endured severe beatings by jailers
for several days before their release. Our correspondent also reported on
Saturday that some of the released detainees sustained rib fractures from
being severely beaten by Israeli jailers over several days.

Issa Al-Darabi, a prisoner released from Ramon prison, shared with *Al
Mayadeen* the suffering of Palestinian detainees inside Israeli jails. He
revealed that the Israeli occupation was employing a policy of systematic
starvation against the detainees, while its soldiers continued their daily
lives as though they were in their own homes.
The Palestinian Prisoners Society also condemned the occupation for practicing
organized terrorism against the released detainees

highlighting its efforts to prevent their families from organizing any
reception or welcoming events for them.
In parallel, the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate reported that 10
released detainees were transferred to hospitals due to their critical
health conditions resulting from the abuse they endured during their
detention.
The released detainees were transferred to the European Hospital in Khan
Younis

Gaza, to undergo medical examinations following their release.
On his part, Ahmad al-Qudra, Director of the Prisoners Information Office,
affirmed that the Al-Aqsa Flood deal is ongoing and that the Resistance’s
determination will not waver until all prisoners and detainees are freed
from the occupation’s prisons.
In a press statement, al-Qudra stated that the issue of prisoners has now
become an integral part of the broader liberation struggle, which the
Palestinian people continue to shape through their steadfastness.
He emphasized that “the heroic prisoners are crafting a saga of resilience
in the face of the occupation, while the Resistance remains steadfast in
its national and humanitarian duty toward them.”
The Director of the Prisoners Information Office saluted "the heroes of the
Resistance who have honored their pledge and made sacrifices to secure the
return of the prisoners to their homes, as well as the steadfast people of
Gaza, who have embraced the Resistance and made tremendous sacrifices."
