Palestinian Resistance factions

continue to defend the Gaza Strip against Israeli occupation forces'
invasion, particularly in the northern region, carrying out operations that
have resulted in confirmed casualties among enemy troops.

The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced targeting an
Israeli occupation Merkava tank and an armored personnel carrier with two
Yassin 105 shells in the Aslan area, west of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.
Then, the brigades, in cooperation with the al-Nasser Salah al-Din
Brigades, fired large-caliber mortar shells at Israeli occupation forces in
the Netzarim Axis.

Meanwhile, the Military Media of the al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of
Palestinian Islamic Jihad, released footage showing their joint operation
with the Omar al-Qassem Forces, the armed wing of the Democratic Front for
the Liberation of Palestine. The operation targeted Israeli occupation
forces in Jabalia Camp and the Netzarim axis using mortar shells.

The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades also targeted a gathering of Israeli
occupation soldiers and vehicles near the Jabalia, in northern Gaza, using
60 caliber mortar shells.

Additionally, the al-Mujahideen Brigades, the military wing of the
al-Mujahideen Movement, detonated a highly explosive "Hameem" device,
destroying an Israeli Merkava tank in the al-Nana’a area within the
al-Qasasib neighborhood of central Jabalia Camp.

Following these Resistance operations, the Israeli occupation army
acknowledged the death of a soldier from the Nachshon (90) Battalion of the
Kfir Brigade and the severe injury of the battalion commander, a lieutenant
colonel, during confrontations in northern Gaza

.

Israeli media reported that the battalion commander sustained critical
injuries during close-range combat with Palestinian Resistance fighters on
the outskirts of Jabalia.

Jabalia, located in northern Gaza, continues to face relentless Israeli
airstrikes and artillery bombardments. Despite the dire conditions and
ongoing siege, the Resistance remains steadfast and successful in its
operations.
IOF admit failure, acknowledge no sufficient troops to control Gaza

On a similar note, the Israeli occupation has admitted that it lacks the
sufficient number of troops needed to control the Gaza Strip. This
admission was detailed in an article by Israeli journalist Bini Aschkenasy
on the Israeli media website, *Walla*.

According to the report, last week, Israeli occupation forces submitted
their response to the Supreme Court regarding the issue of allowing
humanitarian aid into Gaza

The response also highlighted the limited troop numbers, which make
controlling the territory challenging.

The Israeli occupation's Attorney General’s office, representing the IOF,
according to the report, stated that the current size of the forces and the
nature of the occupation army’s activities do not allow for effective
control over the Gaza Strip.

The office emphasized that the IOF do not yet have effective control over
Gaza and that Hamas' ability to exercise governmental authority has not
been fully undermined.
