country," He opened up.

"The naval forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a military
operation targeting an American ship in the Gulf of Aden, with several

   - Statement of the Spokesperson of Yemeni Armed Forces, January 15, 2024
   (social media)

"The Yemeni Armed Forces affirm that retaliation against American and
British attacks is inevitable, and any new aggression will not go
unpunished."

Saree added that the Yemeni Armed Forces persist with their military
operations: enforcing a blockade on Israeli navigation in the Red and
Arabian seas until a ceasefire is achieved in Gaza, and the siege on Gaza
is lifted.

Saree also categorically emphasized that Yemen will continue to exercise
its natural right to national self-defense by taking any tactical measures
deemed necessary to confront the American and British aggressors.

Finally, he reaffirmed Yemen's commitment to international trade in the
Arabian and Red Seas to any destination in the world except for the
Israeli-run ports of occupied Palestine.
