Students occupy Army ROTC building in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico

Early This morning students from diverse
organizations making up the umbrella group
Filiberto Ojeda Rios Contingent (in honor of the
independence leader murdered by the FBI last
Setpember 23) took over the Army ROTC building
indefinitely. the building now displays a huge sign
with showing the face of Filiberto and the saying
"Filiberto, you continue in the hearts of the
people". with this action the students declared
that they are denouncing his assassination by the
colonialist forces. They also declared that the
US govt is a marionette of the great
corporations, the spy agencies and the US
military. The ROTC is the most obvious intrusion
into the university. the students assured that
they are not intimidated by the US govt, and that
they will continue to struggle from within the
university for a new society.

ROTC OUT OF THE UNIVERSITY!! FBI OUT OF PUERTO RICO!!!
