Students occupy Army ROTC building in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico<br>

Early This morning students from diverse <br>
organizations making up the umbrella group <br>
Filiberto Ojeda Rios Contingent (in honor of the <br>
independence leader murdered by the FBI last <br>
Setpember 23) took over the Army ROTC building <br>
indefinitely. the building now displays a huge sign <br>
with showing the face of Filiberto and the saying <br>
"Filiberto, you continue in the hearts of the <br>
people". with this action the students declared <br>
that they are denouncing his assassination by the <br>
colonialist forces. They also declared that the <br>
US govt is a marionette of the great <br>
corporations, the spy agencies and the US <br>
military. The ROTC is the most obvious intrusion <br>
into the university. the students assured that <br>
they are not intimidated by the US govt, and that <br>
they will continue to struggle from within the <br>
university for a new society.<br>
