Hello,

We’re excited to announce another curricular resource from the Freedom Archives! Check out our new curriculum on the Welfare Rights Movement. It contains historical audio and print materials, interactive activities, and larger discussion ideas and questions.

This curriculum and resource guide is intended to encourage people to think about the impact of economic and social policy on women and children, investigate the causes of poverty and unemployment in the U.S., and reflect on the role of race and gender in shaping who is “poor.”

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Laura M., who conceived and worked to create this resource.
