*Did you know there are dozens of political prisoners right here in the 
United
Sates, many of whom have been incarcerated for more than 30, 40 or 50 years?

*Come hear speakers discuss their cases and strategies for getting them 
out*.

*Sekou Odinga* is a former political prisoner, imprisoned for over 33 
years for fighting
for the freedom of Black people and the building of the Republic of New 
Afrika. He was
released on November 25, 2014.

*dequi kioni-sadiki* is the chair of the Malcolm X commemoration 
committee and cocoordinator
the Sekou Odinga Defense Committee. She is the co-host of WBAI ‘s Where
We Live.

*Jose Lopez *has been at the forefront of the Puerto Rican movement for 
forty years and is
the executive director of the Puerto Rican Cultural Center in Chicago. 
He is the brother of
Puerto Rican political prisoner, Oscar Lopez -Rivera.

*Morning Star Gali* is a long time Indigenous activist. She is the 
Tribal Historic Preservation
Officer for the Pitt River Tribe and Representative of the Leonard 
Peltier Defense
Committee.

*Eric McDavid* is a green anarchist who was convicted of conspiracy to 
use fire or
explosives to damage corporate and government property. After serving 
nearly ten years
in prison, he was released after it was shown there was FBI entrapment 
and misconduct.
