An Update
<p>First, to all of you who have signed this petition to call for the
parole of US Political Prisoner Sekou Cinque T.M. Kambui, let me convey
to you gratitude and appreciation on behalf of Sekou for your support. </p>
<p>Second, over the weekend a link was added to inform all of you and
future signatories of the exhibits attached to this petition. The
petition and attachments will be delivered by hand at Sekou’s upcoming
parole hearing.</p>
<p>Although I published this petition, I did not author it. This
petition is in the concept of the exhibits, and the text, word for
word, Sekou’s.</p>
<p>Compiling the documents and images for these exhibits has been a
deeply disturbing, grieving and enraging experience for me. Sekou’s
struggle is but one man’s against the long, ongoing juggernaut of
systemic racism, violence and oppression inherent in the culture and in
the system. I pray that inclusion of these names and images of the
victims as well as the perpetrators of these crimes, will serve not
only the good work of assisting Sekou in achieving release from decades
of incarceration, but will also support the struggle of us all towards
liberation.

me.
