17. He was just denied parole today, November 18, 2009.<br><br>
In a brief report from him by phone he noted that the board was
courteous, saying that his record showed improvement and a good attitude.
They noted his exemplary record, but still, they denied him
parole.<br><br>
Jalil thanks everyone who wrote letters of support and says he will
appeal the decision.<br><br>
His next scheduled parole hearing will be in June 2010.<br><br>
