La movilización de más de doscientos agentes del FBI en septiembre de
2005 para el asesinato de Filiberto Ojeda Ríos; los allanamientos a casas
y negocios de independentistas por comandos de esa misma agencia en
febrero de 2006; la citación de jóvenes independentistas para el Gran
Jurado en Nueva York; la declaración hace unas semanas de parte del
Homeland Security, de que los municipios de San Juan, Guaynabo y Caguas
eran “susceptibles a actos terroristas” y la reciente captura de Avelino
González Claudio y clasificarlo como “terrorista”, es todo parte de una
agenda del FBI, muy bien orquestada, para dar la impresión de que en
Puerto Rico hay un terrorista en cada esquina esperando la oportunidad
para poner una bomba. <br>

Quieren dar la impresión de que el terrorismo se multiplica por todo
Puerto Rico. De esa forma justifican el inmenso presupuesto que tienen
asignado para mantener operando oficinas del FBI en San Juan, Aguadilla,
Ponce y Fajardo. Una en cada punto cardinal y cientos de agentes y
empleados en esta isla tropical. <br>
<br>
Hay 23 estados donde no hay ni una sola oficina del FBI. Con esa movida
el FBI quiere matar dos pájaros de un tiro. Considerando que esa agencia
representa los intereses del Pentágono, el llamado “gobierno permanente”,
que no desea cambio alguno en el status colonial actual, la ola represiva
desatada contra el independentismo y su demonización como terroristas
tiene la doble intención de por un lado asestarle golpes al sector más
combativo del movimiento de liberación y simultáneamente atemorizar a
grandes sectores del pueblo estadounidense con la posibilidad de un
estado 51 lleno de terroristas.<br>

La verdad es que es injustificable la presencia del FBI en Puerto Rico.
<br>
<br>
La fabricación de terroristas es solamente un invento para perpetuarse en
nuestra isla.<br>

The mobilization of more than two hundred FBI agents in September of 2005
for the assassination of Filiberto Ojeda Ríos; the searches of homes and
offices of independentists by commandos of this agency in February of
2006; the subpoenas of young independentists to a Grand Jury in New York,
the statement a few weeks ago by Homeland Security that the towns of San
Juan, Guaynabo and Caguas were “susceptible to terrorist acts” and the
recent capture of <br>
Avelino González Claudio and classifying him as a “terrorist” are all
part of a very well orchestrated FBI agenda to give the impression that
in Puerto Rico there is a terrorist at every corner waiting for the
opportunity to plant a bomb.<br>
<br>
That want to give the impression that terrorism is growing everywhere in
Puerto Rico. In this manner they can justify the enormous budget they
have dedicated to maintain offices operating in San Juan, Aguadilla,
Ponce and Fajardo... one in every cardinal point, and hundreds of agents
and employees on this tropical island.<br>
<br>
There are 23 states that don’t have a single FBI office. With this move,
the FBI wants to kill two birds with one stone. Considering that the
agency represents the interests of the Pentagon, the so called “permanent
government” that has no desire to change the current colonial status, the
wave of repression unleashed against the independence movement and
demonizing it as terrorist have the double intention to, on one hand land
a punch at the most combative sector of the liberation movement, and
simultaneously plant fear in the hearts of the great sectors of the U.S.
population at the prospect of a 51<sup>st</sup> state full of
terrorists.<br>
<br>
The truth is that the presence of the FBI in Puerto Rico is
unjustifiable.<br>
<br>
The fabrication of terrorists is solely a fiction to perpetuate their
presence on our island.<br><br>
