Jalil Muntaqim, being addressed by his slave name, Anthony Bottom, was

brought into a San Francisco courtroom this afternoon in chains and

shackles much like his co-defendants. <br><br>

Jalil did not enter a plea in the multi-count conspiracy charge which is

based on statements coerced by police torture in 1973. He complained

about being in transit without an ability to notify family, supporters or

consult with any legal representatives. Some supporters were able to

attend his brief hearing.<br><br>
