*CALL FOR ACTION*
**
In light of the retaliatory and punitive measures carried out by the
Israeli Prison Services (IPS) against Palestinian prisoners, isolating
them from the outside world, prohibiting family and lawyer visits,
subjecting prisoners to starvation, and neglecting them medically, which
led to the martyrdom of the two detainees Omar Draaghma (58 years old)
and Arafat Hamdan (25 years old) within 24 hours.
Addameer calls those in solidarity with Palestine to address the *Legal
Advisor for* *Israeli Prison Services* and demand an immediate cessation
of the assault on Palestinian prisoners, using the following text:
*“ To: Eran Nahon – Legal Advisor for Israeli Prison Services*
*[I / We] demand an immediate cessation of the assault on Palestinian
prisoners, including beating, abuse, starvation, and medical neglect,
under the penalty of legal responsibility, as these practices constitute
crimes for which you will be held accountable”*
**
The message should be sent to the email: *[ pniot at ips.gov.il ]*
Please spread this call to all your networks and friends
We appreciate your solidarity
