*POLITICAL PRISONER SEKOU KAMBUI TO BE RELEASED FROM PRISON*

After 40 years incarcerated in Alabama State prisons, political prisoner
Sekou Kambui(sn. William Turk)was granted parole on June 18, 2014. He will be in the process
of transitioning to a halfway house over the next two weeks.

As a youth in the 1950's and 60's, Sekou was involved in the civil rights
movement, and was a member of the Black Panther Party. Throughout his years
in prison, he continued to organize for justice and prisoner rights.

Sekou's parole success is a happy and unexpected victory for Sekou, his
friends and supporters, and for all political prisoners who can gain renewed
hope from Sekou's upcoming release.
