Activists for the Liberation of Palestine is pleased to announce, on 
the occasion of Palestinian Prisoners' Day,  the launch of a new set 
of resources focusing on the struggle of Palestinian political 
prisoners for freedom, justice and liberation.

The Zionist state has waged a war of imprisonment against Palestinian 
society. Thousands upon thousands of Palestinians, activists, 
leaders, freedom fighters, have been held as political prisoners, 
detained, tortured, separated from their families and loved ones, at 
the mercy of a racist state dedicated to their eradication as a 
nation. Nevertheless, Palestinian political prisoners have been a 
backbone of the Palestinian national movement, persevering and 
remaining steadfast and firm in their commitment to the Palestinian 
struggle for liberation and return, and persevering despite the worst 
tortures and persecution to remain fighters, leaders, and activists. 
The valiant struggle of Palestine's political prisoners is central to 
the Palestinian movement for national liberation; it is the struggle 
of the Palestinian people.

These resources are designed to be of use to groups, organizations 
and individuals in outreaching to their communities, providing 
information about the plight of Palestinian prisoners and the 
centrality of the prisoners' struggle to the Palestinian national 
liberation movement, as well as posters, factsheets, resources and 
action guides that can help groups and organizations to develop their 
own political prisoner education campaigns.

download in 8.5 x 11" and 11 x 17" sizes, highlight key statistics 
about Palestinian political prisoners and feature a large graphic 
image. They can be posted anywhere people may benefit from this 
information, and also feature a space for local groups and organizers 
to place their contact information.
    * Action Guide - This informative guide provides helpful hints, 
ideas and information for groups and individuals planning actions, 
events, or information campaigns about Palestinian political prisoners.
    * Resources and Background - An extensive array of links, 
articles and resources are provided, including presentations, 
research reports, and testimonies by political prisoners. These 
resources are useful to any organizer who would like to know more!

We encourage groups and organizations across the U.S. and around the 
world, on Prisoners' Day and every day, to make full and extensive 
use of these materials to educate, inform and mobilize the community!
