We got some good news from Maroon today in regard to the on going
harassment he's been subjected to by guards Peters and Lynch at
Sci-Greene. Maroon said that an assistant to the warden came to see him in
his cell and after telling him what's been going on, he was
tansferred to the death row unit. Two guards stepped in to escort him to
his new cell, after telling him that they would escort him rather than
have Peters and Lynch do it. They told him straight up that Lynch and
Peters were mad about all the pressure they've come under and that given
the chance they would kick his ass. Maroon reports that the death row unit
he's on is real quiet, he has all his property back and a cell search was
done, without tearing his cell/ property up. Thanks to all who have
supported Maroon by writing or calling over the past few
months.
Unfortunately Peters and Lynch are still terrorizing other prisoners under
their watch.
One of the prisoners is Shabaka ( Andre Gay), who is doing life sentence
and has been in the RHU for over 8 years. He's a strong revolutionary
minded brother, who has been playing a leading role in rebuilding
Pennsylvania's prison movement.  We urge all concerned to write  Shabaka
and give whatever support possible. Please write him at:
