[Ppnews] Russell Maroon Shoats

Just got a call tonight from Theresa Shoatz, Maroon's daughter, who lives 
here in Philly. She said Maroon informed her that he has prostate cancer. 
Apparently he's really shaken up over it given the poor medical treatment 
he can expect from the prison medical staff. Theresa is
working up a petition for her dad that will ask the Governor and the PA DOC 
to allow Maroon to have an outside doctor come into the prison and examine 
him. There will be an online petition available soon, so i'll forward it to 
everyone once it's available. In the meantime, Theresa asked if people can 
drop a line to Maroon, to boost his spirits. He told her that he's dealt 
with alot of situations in his life, dodged a few bullets but this is 
something that he has no control over without outside support. You can
