<p>The al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, announced on Monday that its <a href="https://english.almayadeen.net/news/politics/palestinian-resistance-targets-israeli-forces-in-southern-kh" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fighters successfully destroyed an Israeli military vehicle</a> using a pre-planted Thaqib explosive device in the Abu Hudhaf area, northeast of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.</p>
<p>In a brief statement, the brigades declared: "Your vehicles have
become ruins," a reference to the ongoing Israeli military operation
dubbed \u201cGideon\u2019s Chariots\u201d, launched months ago with the stated aim of
fully occupying the Gaza Strip, dismantling the Resistance, and forcibly
displacing the population of Gaza.</p>
<div><p>The operation <a href="https://english.almayadeen.net/news/politics/ex-israeli-general-says-gaza-starvation-campaign-isolated--i" target="_blank" rel="noopener">has failed to achieve any of its strategic goals</a>, according to Israeli officials themselves.</p><p>In
a separate operation, the Abu Ali Mustapha Brigades, the armed wing of
the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), said they
destroyed an Israeli armored personnel carrier in coordination with the
al-Quds Brigades. The operation involved an anti-armor explosive device
detonated on Al-Montar Street, east of the Shujaiya neighborhood in
northern Gaza City.</p></div>
<p>The brigades confirmed that the explosion resulted in casualties
among the crew, with members either killed or injured, and emphasized
that the operation was part of a continuing response to the crimes
committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people.</p>
<p>These operations <a href="https://english.almayadeen.net/news/politics/ex-shin-bet-official--hamas-will-never-surrender--even-after" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reflect the ongoing resistance to Israeli incursions</a>
into Gaza and serve as a direct response to the prolonged aggression
and blockade. The resistance factions stress that such attacks have led
to significant losses among Israeli forces on multiple fronts.</p>
