<p><strong>Venezuelan authorities have foiled a far-right terrorist plot
targeting health centers, embassies, and political leaders, exposing
international connections with Colombian ex-presidents and opposition
figures. The operation highlights ongoing threats to Venezuela\u2019s
stability and sovereignty.</strong></p>

<p>In a decisive move to safeguard national sovereignty and public
safety, Venezuela\u2019s Ministry of the Interior, Justice, and Peace has
dismantled a sophisticated far-right terrorist network. This group, with
international backing, aimed to destabilize the country through attacks
on critical infrastructure, diplomatic missions, and political leaders,
both Chavista and opposition. The operation underscores the persistent
threats orchestrated by extremist elements allied with foreign interests
intent on undermining Venezuela\u2019s democratic process.</p>
<p>During a press conference, Minister Diosdado Cabello presented
compelling evidence linking the conspiracy to Colombian political
figures María Corina Machado, former presidents Álvaro Uribe and Iván
Duque, and narco-paramilitary gangs specializing in arms trafficking.
The plot\u2019s sophistication was evident in its logistical reach, involving
weapons smuggled from Colombia, mercenaries from multiple countries,
and advanced communications equipment.</p>
<p>\u201cThis is a coherent plot; here, the Venezuelan right-wing politicians
have completely lost their shame, their scruples. They use drug money
to buy weapons, explosives, hitmen, bandits, and terrorists,\u201d Cabello
stated, highlighting the collusion between right-wing politicians and
criminal networks.</p>
<p>Authorities have arrested 38 individuals, including 17 foreigners,
many with expertise in explosives and mercenary activities, as part of
the ongoing operation. Among those detained are Colombian, Argentine,
and Serbian nationals, as well as Venezuelan citizens involved in
logistics and propaganda. Security forces seized a cache of weapons,over
500 rifles, grenade launchers, GPS systems, encrypted radios, and a
.50-caliber machine gun intended for high-impact attacks.</p>
<p>The investigation revealed that the group planned to target
hospitals, embassies, and public service facilities, with the aim of
creating chaos and justifying foreign intervention. Notably, the
operation included attempts to fabricate evidence of foreign missiles in
Venezuela, intended to provoke aggression from the United States.</p>
<p>Cabello and other government officials have repeatedly denounced the
imperialist agenda behind these plots, pointing to the involvement of
the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Spain\u2019s National
Intelligence Center, and regional right-wing leaders. These actors are
accused of financing, training, and directing mercenary operations
against Venezuela\u2019s legitimate government.</p>
<p><strong><em>The text reads: #LIVE | \u201cUribe, Santos, Duque, and
Pastrana, enemies of #Venezuela, are the drug trafficking mafias,\u201d
stated the Venezuelan minister.</em></strong></p>
<p><strong><em>#LIVE | \u201cIf there is a mega-gang, it\u2019s the Colombian drug
trafficking gang, and here in #Venezuela, there is indeed a fight
against drug trafficking. We have them cornered, and we will continue to
corner them,\u201d stated Diosdado Cabello.</em></strong></p>
<p>\u201cThey have hired mercenaries from Eastern Europe, Americans, looking
to attack Venezuela,\u201d Cabello declared, demanding accountability from
the U.S. and Spanish governments for their alleged roles in these
destabilization efforts.</p>
<p>The Venezuelan government has reaffirmed its commitment to defending
the country\u2019s peace, democracy, and sovereignty. President Nicolas
Maduro and high-ranking officials have called on the international
community to recognize the ongoing attacks by transnational far-right
actors and to support Venezuela\u2019s right to self-determination.</p>
<p>Security protocols remain heightened, especially in border regions
and ahead of upcoming municipal elections, as authorities continue to
dismantle sleeper cells and prevent further attempts at destabilization.</p>
<p>\u201cFascism in Venezuela will not arrive nor prevail. They intend to
govern the country through delinquency and death. The oligarchy does not
accept the election results,\u201d President Maduro emphasized, urging unity
in the face of foreign-backed aggression.</p>
<p>The exposure and dismantling of this terrorist network demonstrate
the vigilance of Venezuelan institutions and the resilience of the
Bolivarian Revolution against ongoing imperialist and far-right threats.
The government\u2019s actions reaffirm its unwavering stance: Terrorism and
foreign intervention will find no foothold in Venezuela.</p><div>
