<p>Yemen\u2019s armed forces announced today, Sunday, that they targeted 
Israel\u2019s Ben Gurion airport with a hypersonic ballistic missile in 
response to the ongoing Israeli war crimes in Gaza.</p>



<p>\u201cThe missile force carried out a special military operation targeting
 Lod Airport, referred to as Israel\u2019s Ben Gurion airport, in the 
occupied Jaffa area, using a hypersonic ballistic missile,\u201d military 
spokesman Yehya Sariee said in a statement aired by Al-Masirah satellite
 channel.</p>



<p>\u201cThe operation successfully achieved its goal, thanks to Allah, 
forcing millions of Zionists to rush to shelters and bringing airport 
activity to a halt,\u201d spokesman Sariee added.</p>



<p>The spokesman affirmed that Yemen\u2019s armed forces would continue to 
impose an aerial navigation ban at Lod Airport, noting that most 
airlines had complied with this ban over the past few days, which 
significantly impacted operations at the Israeli airport.</p>



<p>\u201cThe daily massacres carried out by the occupation forces against the
 people of Gaza prompt Yemen \u2026 to redouble the efforts and escalate 
military operations in order to curb the aggression against Gaza and 
break the blockade,\u201d he said.</p>



<p>Meanwhile, the Hebrew media claimed that Israel\u2019s air defenses intercepted a ballistic missile fired from Yemen today.</p>



<p>According to the Times of Israel website, sirens sounded in the 
Jerusalem area, southern West Bank settlements, and communities near the
 Dead Sea. Preceding the sirens by about five minutes, an early warning 
was issued to residents, alerting civilians of the long-range missile 
strike via a push notification on their phones.</p>



<p>The website said there were no immediate reports of injuries or 
damage, adding that a chunk of the missile landed in the South Hebron 
Hills area of the West Bank.</p>



<p>It was the third Yemeni missile counterattack on Israel in four days, and the fifth since last Sunday.</p>
