resolution to oppose the cruel U.S. blockade of Cuba
passed 187-2 at the United Nations General Assembly
(U.S. & Israel voted NO, Ukraine abstained)</b></p>
<p>Once again we see that the whole world agrees on the
need to Let
Cuba Live!</p>
<p><b>The only consistent supporters of the blockade each
year in
the UN General Assembly vote are the US and apartheid
Israel,</b>
who are also responsible right now for the genocidal
bombing campaign
and blockade of life-sustaining goods and electricity
into Gaza.</p>
<p>We join the people of the world who have been in the
streets these
past several weeks in solidarity with the Palestinian
freedom struggle
and say: End the Siege on Gaza! End all US aid to
Israel!</p>
