Yet the Biden Administration continues to insist on its choice of prime minister, Ariel Henry, who has no mandate and no legitimacy.</span></div>

Haiti elected Aristide president, but Haiti’s </span>military
with US collaboration overthrew him in 1991. He was
re-elected in </font><span
style="font-size:15px;font-family:ArialMT">2000, but was
overthrown again on February 29, 2004, when US military
officials </span><span
style="font-size:15px;font-family:ArialMT">kidnapped him
and his family and flew them into forced exile in the
Central </span><span
style="font-size:15px;font-family:ArialMT">African
Republic. A series of presidents elected through
fraudulent elections </span><span
style="font-size:15px;font-family:ArialMT">in which the
Lavalas Party was not allowed to even participate until
2015 (when </span><span
style="font-size:15px;font-family:ArialMT">it was
cheated out of victory) have looted Haiti’s resources
and ruled through </span><span
style="font-size:15px;font-family:ArialMT">police and
death squad terror. Now the powers that be are trying to
force new </span><span
style="font-size:15px;font-family:ArialMT">corrupt
elections on a devastated Haiti completely unequipped to
hold a </span><span
style="font-size:15px;font-family:ArialMT">democratic
election, while the grassroots majority is calling for a</span>

<div><font style="font-size:15px" face="ArialMT">transitional
government of honest and respected leaders who will
work to </font><span
style="font-size:15px;font-family:ArialMT">rebuild
Haiti’s institutions before fair elections can be

few short years Aristide and the grassroots Lavalas
movement held power, they built more schools than
had been built in </span></font><span
style="font-size:15px;font-family:ArialMT">they built
more schools than had been built in Haiti’s </span></div>

style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt">
<p class="MsoNormal"><font style="font-size:15px"
face="ArialMT">history, along with health centers,
housing, parks, and a hospital. The Aristides
returned to Haiti in 2011, and have focused on
educating Haiti’s next generation through the
University of the Aristide Foundation (UNIFA.)</font></p>

style="font-size:15px" face="ArialMT">As it attempts
to thwart moves towards ending dictatorship in Haiti,
the Biden Administration has deported more than 20,000
Haitian refugees, in one of the speediest mass
deportations in US history. Having fled from
conditions produced by US policy in Haiti, they are
now being sent back into the US-created nightmare they
fled.</font><br>
