 new shipment of humanitarian technical aid from the People’s Republic 
of China arrived in Venezuela this Saturday to support the treatment and
 combat the Covid-19 coronavirus in the country.</p><p>Venezuelan vice 
president, Delcy Rodriguez and the Chinese ambassador in Caracas, Li 
Baorong, were present at the delivery of 55 tons of medical supplies, 
among other authorities.</p><p>“A new shipment of medical supplies from 
the sister People’s Republic of China, to combat Covid-19, lands at the 
Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, La Guaira state,” 
reported the Venezuelan embassy in China via Twitter.</p><p><a href="https://orinocotribune.com/cuba-an-example-of-solidarity-in-a-time-of-crisis/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">RELATED CONTENT: Cuba – An Example of Solidarity In a Time of Crisis</a></p><p>Telesur detailed that in this second of many shipments “China sends genuine humanitarian aid to Venezuela:</p><p>•500,000 rapid test kits<br> •50,000 PCR test kits<br> •ventilators<br> •5 million face masks<br> •10,000+ (most likely surgical scrubs)<br> •30,000+ units of Chloroquine<br> •70,000+ infrared thermometers<br> + other medicine and supplies</p><p>“Unity
 does everything and, therefore, we must keep this precious principle,” 
reads boxes that transport the supplies shown in photos shared on social
 networks.</p><p>Last Thursday, March 19, China also sent a shipment to 
Venezuela with 4,015 Covid-19 screening test kits, as well as the 
medicines and reagents necessary to fight this health contingency.</p><p><em>Featured
