(Ma'an) -- Head of the Palestinian Authority (PA) Committee
against the Wall and Settlements, Walid Assaf, revealed on
Tuesday that more than 189 Palestinian homes are threatened with
demolition in the al-Walaja village, west of the southern
occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem.<br>

Palestine radio station, that more than 189 Palestinian-owned
homes are currently under threat of being demolished by Israel in
the near future.<br>

al-Walaja by Israel, come within the framework of an illegal
Israeli settlement plan to expand the southern borders of
Jerusalem.<br>

Israeli settlement of Gush Etzion.<br>

tents and urgent relief were provided to Palestinian families,
whose homes were demolished by Israel only several hours after
receiving a prior notice or none at all.<br>

found or else a number of families will remain homeless.<br>

Violent clashes had erupted on predawn Monday after two Palestinian
homes, in the al-Walaja village, were demolished by Israel, under
the pretext that they were built without the difficult-to-obtain
Israeli building permits.
