                track ‘Fuck Tha Police’, forcing the local authorities
                to listen to the track while on duty.<br>
              </p>
              <p>The track, originally released in 1988, is famous for
                its lyrics protesting against police brutality. So far,
                at least two versions of 'Fuck Tha Police' and a track
                by Rage Against the Machine have been played on the
                police radio frequency in Otago, NZ.

                    Daily Times</em></a> about the situation, stating
                that people are being put in danger.</p>
              <p>"There's no question that if it carries on and if they
                do what they're doing it will delay a response. Any
                interference with a police radio constitutes a risk to
                public safety, and anyone caught doing this can face a
                penalty of criminal nuisance and up to one year
                imprisonment.”
              </p>
              <p>According to Inspector Lloyd, no police radios had been
                reported missing, indicating the broadcast was happening
                by other means.
              </p>
              <p>This isn’t the first time someone has pranked the
                police force in New Zealand in a similar nature. Back in
                August the police radio frequency was interrupted by pig
                grunts.
