<p>Over the weekend, more alterations and “remixes” of <a
href="http://electronicintifada.net/blogs/nora/hate-group-places-islamophobic-advertisements-san-francisco-buses">Islamophobic
ads on MUNI buses appeared across San Francisco</a> as the community
continues to take action to denounce the racist hate speech. </p>
<p>The original ads read: “In any war between the civilized man and the
savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel … Defeat jihad.” As
The Electronic Intifada <a
href="http://electronicintifada.net/blogs/nora/artists-alter-islamophobic-ads-sf-buses-muni-adds-disclaimers">reported
on Friday, anonymous activists had added an image of a hand and a stamp</a>
with the words “HATE SPEECH” across placards with the ads, which are
paid for by <a href="http://electronicintifada.net/tags/pamela-geller">notorious
anti-Muslim inciter Pamela Geller</a> and her group, the American
Freedom Defense Initiative.</p>
<p>More alterations of the ad have been spotted in San Francisco. On
Sunday, an anonymous person <a
href="http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2012/08/17/18719719.php?show_comments=1#18719863">posted
a photo on Indybay with a comment</a> that reads, ”Ads on three more
buses were revised today.” The sign was remixed to read “In any war
between the colonizer and the colonized, support the oppressed. Support
the <a href="http://electronicintifada.net/tags/right-return">Palestinian
right of return</a> … Defeat racism.”</p>
