John Bowman became the 5th Black activist jailed today for refusing to

cooperate with a State Grand Jury investigating a 1971 case. Despite

evidence introduced about Post Traumatic Stress caused by John Bowman's

torture in New Orleans in 1973 by the same cops involved in this current

investigation, Superior Court Judge Dondero refused to consider the

impact of this history on this case. <br><br>
