What if I told you that everything you thought you knew about the pagers 
attack was just barely scratching the surface?

it used these to infiltrate Hezbollah’s supply chain over many years, in 
a trail the documentary traces from Taiwan to Hong Kong to Hungary to 
the israeli occupation to Lebanon, revealing exclusive documentation of 
Hezbollah’s communication with the Taiwan-based supplier, Gold Apollo, 
and on-the-ground investigation of the Budapest-based BAC Consulting 
intermediary.

Taiwan-based Gold Apollo, Hezbollah’s pagers supplier.

*Engineer Hussein Mohammed Riad Bazzi, nom-de-guerre Jibril*, led the 
technical and technological research department of Hezbollah’s Signal 
Unit, responsible for inspecting shipments of new equipment. He noticed 
numerous irregularities with the new pagers, including short battery 
life and transmission failures, and he was intent to get to the bottom 
of it.

*Engineer Ali Hussein Sabra, nom-de-guerre Abu Hussein Ayman*, was also 
suspicious of the walkie-talkies, and dissected them for inspection, but 
he failed to open the lithium battery where he would have discovered 
carefully-hidden US-manufactured *CL-20 explosive material*. (CL-20 is 
considered the most powerful non-nuclear mass-produced explosive in 
existence, with extreme energy density, meaning an almost microscopic 
amount could be easily disguised and cause a devastating blast. CL-20 
also has virtually zero vapor emission, not evaporating or emitting gas 
at room temperature, making it nearly impossible for bomb detectors to 
discover.)

In May 2024, Abu Hussein Ayman wrote a report raising his concerns. *On 
June 3, 2024, the IOF targeted and killed him in an airstrike*. 
Shipments of rigged devices continued to arrive.

Hezbollah ordered a scanner from Iran to inspect the pagers. *israel 
found out, and bombed the delivery convoy in June 2024*. In August, 
Hezbollah sent a few pagers to Iran for inspection. Jibril had pushed 
for their withdrawal from the field, but there was no alternative in the 
midst of war.

Netanyahu ordered early detonation on September 17, 2024, only when 
Hezbollah, suspecting tampering and suspicious of the supplier’s emails, 
began to recall the pagers. *The IOF assassinated Jibril five days later 
on September 22, 2024*. Muhammad Rashid Shafi, nom-de-guerre Hajj 
Mus’ab, the leader of the Signal Unit, was targeted and killed on 
October 3, 2024.

On September 18, despite mass device recalls, not everyone had received 
the memo, and hundreds of walkie-talkies exploded. The second wave of 
attacks was more deadly than the day before, because a larger amount of 
explosives could be packed into the walkie-talkie batteries than the 
pagers. Some of the explosions took place during the funerals for the 
previous day’s victims.

This is where the true zionist objective of completely dismantling 
Hezbollah with the click of a button failed: The original plan was to 
have 20,000 tampered pagers detonate in the middle of the battlefield, 
including a shipment of 1,300 rigged devices that never made it to 
Lebanon (they were in transit through a Turkish airport, and Sayyed 
Hassan Nasrallah alerted the Turkish authorities to have them seized and 
destroyed). Imagine an israeli ground invasion, where suddenly the 
resistance fighters defending their land all fall at once.

Despite the devastation caused, the zionist entity did not achieve its 
objectives. The attacks also exposed to Hezbollah where its 
vulnerabilities were, and where its internal communications and security 
needed to be restructured and strengthened. Today the organization still 
endures, rebuilds, and resists, despite all odds against them, and 
somehow, this story of a major setback still shows the power and 
continuity of the resistance.
