Yemeni armed forces affiliated with the Ansarullah group announced that
they had carried out their first direct military operation targeting
“sensitive Israeli military sites” in southern 1948 occupied Palestine,
using a salvo of ballistic missiles.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the group said the operation was
conducted in line with its earlier declaration of direct military
intervention in support of Iran and allied fronts in Lebanon, Iraq, and
Palestine.

The statement added that the strike comes in response to the ongoing
military escalation, attacks on infrastructure, and what it described as
crimes committed against populations in Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, and Palestine.

It also said the operation coincided with ongoing military actions by
Iranian forces and Hezbollah, announcing that the targets were successfully
hit.

The group affirmed that its operations will continue until its declared
objectives are achieved and until attacks on allied fronts come to an end.

Earlier in the day, Israeli Channel 12 reported that a missile was launched
from Yemen toward the Negev for the first time since the outbreak of the
war with Iran.

Hours before the strike, Yemeni forces had announced their readiness to
intervene directly if US and Israeli attacks on Iran and allied groups
expanded further. They said their position stems from what they described
as a religious and moral responsibility to confront a war that threatens
the stability of the entire region.

They also called for an immediate US and Israeli response to international
diplomatic efforts aimed at halting the war.

Since 28 February, Israel and the United States have been waging a wide
scale war on Iran, resulting in hundreds of deaths, including senior
officials, while Tehran has responded with missile and drone attacks
targeting Israel as well as what it says are US interests in parts of the
region.
