Former Pentagon advisor Theodore Postol says Iranian missiles have become
more accurate, destructive, and increasingly difficult for Israeli defenses
to intercept.

Iranian missiles have become more effective

the Pentagon, Professor Theodore Postol, stated.

In an interview with *Going Underground*, Postol stated, “Their [Iran's]
ballistic missiles are by exceptional margins beyond what we saw in the

generation of newer, more capable missiles that are impossible, I want to

Attempts to intercept Iranian missiles 'foolish'

“They are not close to being subject to interception, and they have bigger
warheads that are more destructive,” Postol added, noting that Iran
possesses large numbers of these missiles, characterized by high precision,
"which means that they can focus

on Beirut’s southern suburbs on June 7, during which Tehran launched
strikes against a number of sensitive sites across northern occupied
Palestine.

The latest escalation has underscored the destructive potential of Iran’s
