The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza denounced an Israeli attack

that destroyed medicine warehouses at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital early
Saturday, calling it a heinous crime against a health system already
stretched to breaking point.

The missiles leveled two of the site's four warehouses and left the other
two badly damaged, the Ministry said. The hospital's outpatient clinic,
which sits right next to the warehouses, was also torn apart in the strike.

Much of the medical supplies and consumables stored there, meant for
patients and the wounded, were destroyed or lost, and the attack triggered
panic among patients and staff still on site.

The explosion tore a deep crater into the ground and flattened the
warehouses. It also wrecked nearby tents where displaced families had been
sheltering, forcing dozens of them to pack up and flee once again.
An attack on healthcare

The Ministry asserts that this assault goes beyond the ongoing blockade
that has kept medicine from entering Gaza and beyond "Israel's" refusal to
let thousands of patients and wounded people leave for treatment abroad. It
now amounts to a direct assault on what little remains of the Strip's
health infrastructure.

The Ministry called on the international community, UN agencies, and human
rights groups to intervene immediately and guarantee protection for medical
facilities and staff across Gaza.

The bombing came just hours after Hamas said it and other Palestinian
factions had engaged in good faith

with mediators' proposals to finalize the second phase of the Gaza
ceasefire agreement.
Death toll since ceasefire passes 1,220

unfolded against a backdrop of near-daily bloodshed that has continued
despite the declared ceasefire.

Gaza's Health Ministry reported that eight bodies and 76 wounded were
brought to hospitals across the Strip over the past 48 hours, seven of them
killed in recent attacks and one person who succumbed to previous wounds.

Since the ceasefire was declared on October 11, 1,222 Palestinians have
been martyred

and 4,053 wounded, and the bodies of 804 others have been recovered. The
cumulative toll since "Israel's" genocidal war began on October 7, 2023,
has now reached 73,349 martyred and 174,162 wounded.
Drone attacks kill three since morning

Since Saturday morning, three Palestinians have been martyred in separate
Israeli drone attacks on Gaza City and Deir al-Balah, according to *Al
Mayadeen's* correspondent in Gaza.

Our correspondent reported that one Palestinian was killed in an Israeli
drone attack near the entrance to Deir al-Balah in central Gaza. In the
same attack, another man was wounded in critical condition, and both were
taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

Several Palestinians were also wounded in a drone attack on the al-Mawasi
area of al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis, while another bombing hit the
vicinity of Third Street in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of
Gaza City.
