The Secretary-General of the Palestinian National Initiative, Mustafa
Barghouti, said that developments at the United Nations confirm the
deepening international isolation of "Israel".
Speaking to *Al Mayadeen*, Barghouti slammed Israeli Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech before the General Assembly as “full of lies
that portrayed the criminal as the victim

He stressed that “the world is changing, and Israel is becoming
increasingly isolated.”
In this context, he called for imposing and expanding sanctions on the
occupation, including military restrictions, as well as advocating for
breaking economic ties. For Arab states, Barghouti demanded they step up
and support the Palestinian cause at this critical juncture.
Palestinian unity vital, foreign figures out
The Palestinian leader also rejected reports that former British Prime
Minister Tony Blair might be appointed to administer the Gaza Strip, saying
the prospect is an "insult" and affirming that “Blair is rejected, as is
any foreign figure who seeks to govern us or manage our affairs.”
Barghouti underscored the importance of Palestinian unity in confronting
occupation, stressing that the proper response to “attempts to tamper with
the internal scene” lies in returning to the Beijing Agreement, which
consolidated the Palestinian stance.
Concluding his remarks, Barghouti said Netanyahu has "dragged Israel into
the greatest isolation in its history," saying he is a "madman no different
from the leader of Nazism

Dozens of delegations boycott Netanyahu's speech at UNGA
Earlier today, dozens of delegations participating in the United Nations
General Assembly (UNGA) meeting in New York withdrew ahead of ICC-wanted
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech.
According to *Reuters*, presidents and representatives left the hall right
as he ascended to the podium

reflecting their diplomatic disapproval of his participation.
At the same time, activists and crowds gathered outside the UN's New York
