*In research released today by the Palestinian Youth Movement, Oakland’s 
hidden and central role in shipping military cargo to Israel has finally 
been uncovered. *Military cargo is flowing through our commercial 
Oakland Airport to the genocidal Israeli military, concealed from the 
people of Oakland, our union members, our city officials, our educators.

*At least 280 military cargo shipments have left the Oakland airport 
destined for Israel since January 2025.*These shipments out of OAK 
happened multiple days per week, almost every single week. At least 96% 
of the shipments were destined for the Nevatim Airbase – the home and 
repair-hub for the Israeli F-35 fleet, which drops bombs on the people 
of Gaza.

*Bomb droppers and surveillance systems of the lethal F-35 jet were 
confirmed to be among the shipments from OAK destined for Israel’s 
Nevatim airbase.*These bomb release units are fitted to carry 2,000 
pound bombs – as was done when Israel’s F-35 jet dropped 2000-lb bombs 
on the Al-Mawasi refugee camp in Gaza, injuring 300 and killing 90 
Palestinians in one attack.

*The evidence demonstrates beyond a reasonable doubt that military cargo 
being shipped out of OAK has been used by Israel to carry out airstrikes 
and continue the genocide in Gaza.*Oakland Airport’s central role in the 
supply chain of genocide is an attack on everything that Oakland stands 
for.

*Oakland, the time is now for a People’s Arms Embargo.*
