Hamas: Israeli claims of reduced Gaza operations are false

The Hamas Movement has accused the Israeli occupation government of lying
about scaling back military operations in the Gaza Strip, affirming that
since the early morning hours of Saturday, the Israeli army had massacred
over 70 civilians, including children and women.

In a statement on Saturday evening, Hamas reiterated its call for the
international community, as well as Arab and Islamic countries, to fulfill
their legal and humanitarian responsibilities towards the Gaza Strip and to
take urgent measures to protect and support its people.

The Movement also urged the world’s free people to escalate their
solidarity activities in support of the Palestinian people and increase
their efforts to pressure the Israeli occupation regime to stop its
genocide in Gaza.

Despite calls from US president Donald Trump for Israel to stop its
bombardment after Hamas said it had accepted his plan to end Israel’s war,
Israeli attacks across the besieged Gaza Strip had killed at least 70
Palestinians in 24 hours since Saturday morning, according to medical
sources.
