The absence of accountability coupled with international silence and
indifference encourage Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu to go ahead in
his crimes and disregard international law, Hamas Movement said in a
statement on Sunday evening.

It added that the “terrorist Israeli army continues to bombard civilians in
Gaza without any consideration to the sanctity of Eid al-Fitr.”

Dozens of Palestinian citizens, many of them children wearing new Eid
clothes, were massacred on the first day of Eid al-Fitr in the Israeli
violent bombardment.

Hamas charged that the Israeli shelling of children in their tents on the
first day of Eid al-Fitr “reveals the fascist nature of the Israeli
occupation government, which is devoid of any human or moral values.”

The Movement called on the free people of the world to pressure their
government into enforcing an end to the Israeli aggressions in Gaza and the
West Bank.

It also called on the international community to pressure Israel to cease
fire immediately and return to the agreement to halt the Palestinian
bloodshed and to proceed with the prisoners’ exchange deal
