GAZA, (PIC)

The Government Media Office (GMO) in the Gaza Strip mourned a number of
government officials who were martyred in Israeli raids on the Strip at
dawn Tuesday.

The GMO revealed in a statement that the government martyrs were identified
as follows: The head of the government work follow-up, Commander Essam
al-Dalis, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice, Commander Ahmed
al-Hetta, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Commander Major
General Mahmoud Abu Watfa, and Director-General of the Internal Security
Agency, Commander Major General Bahjat Abu Sultan.

The statement explained that the martyrs were killed after they and their
families were directly targeted by Israeli occupation warplanes, noting
that they were martyred along with hundreds of others as a result of the
renewed airstrikes since dawn hours.

The GMO stressed that the martyrdom of the government officials “will not
deter us from performing our national duty towards our Palestinian people
and continuing to fulfill our religious and moral duties and accomplishing
our professional role to serve our people and support their steadfastness
and fortitude in the face of this barbaric aggression.”

The Israeli occupation army resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip at
dawn Tuesday, in a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement. Israeli
airstrikes targeted various areas in the Strip, killing more than 400
Palestinians and injuring hundreds others.
