Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has publicly denounced the Salvadoran
government under Nayib Bukele for committing serious, repeated human rights
violations, including the kidnapping and forced disappearance of 252
Venezuelan migrants.

Speaking during the Venezuelan International Book Fair (FILVEN 2025), the
president described the conditions faced by these migrants as comparable to
Nazi concentration camps and condemned Bukele’s legacy as irreparably
stained by these crimes.

Attorney General Tarek William Saab confirmed that Venezuela’s Public
Prosecutor’s Office is pursuing legal action against Bukele for kidnapping
and forced disappearance, highlighting the lack of due process and official
records in these cases.

*The text reads: The President of #Venezuela , Nicolás Maduro, condemned
the serious human rights violations committed under the current Government
of #ElSalvador 🇸🇻, led by Nayib Bukele, and denounced the Central
American leader’s ties to crime.*

President Maduro also exposed Bukele’s alleged ties to criminal
organizations such as the Mara Salvatrucha gang, accusing him of
negotiating with the US government to silence witnesses through the
transfer of gang members back to El Salvador.

Amid these denunciations, President Maduro reaffirmed his urgent proposal
for a Global Summit for Peace and Against War, aimed at confronting
escalating international conflicts and the looming threat of nuclear war.

Addressing world leaders and major powers, President Maduro emphasized the
need for dialogue, respect for international law, and multilateral
cooperation to restore global stability.

This summit, which Venezuela is actively promoting with the support of
regional and global actors including China and Russia, seeks to foster
disarmament initiatives such as the creation of a nuclear-free zone in West
Asia and demands immediate action from the UN Security Council to dismantle
Israel’s secret nuclear arsenal, which President Maduro identified as a
grave threat to regional and world peace.

The president condemned the massacre of the Palestinian people as a
massacre against all humanity, framing it as a clear sign of imperialist
domination attempts. He called for a just resolution to the Palestinian
conflict based on UN resolutions, including the recognition of East
Jerusalem as the capital of a sovereign Palestinian state and the right of
refugees to return.

The Venezuelan president also expressed gratitude to the Catholic Church
for its support in demanding the liberation of kidnapped children and
migrants in the United States and El Salvador. He highlighted the alarming
case of 31 children abducted in the US and the 252 forcibly disappeared
Venezuelan workers in El Salvador, describing these acts as unprecedented
violations of human rights.

*The text reads: #LIVE | President of #Venezuela , Nicolas Maduro: I
reaffirm with modesty, but with firmness, the proposal to the great powers,
to the countries involved in aggressions, and to the world’s leaders for a
great World Peace Summit.*

In his remarks, President Maduro criticized Western governments for their
Russophobic policies, which he views as part of a broader imperialist
strategy destabilizing global peace. He called on all nations to reject
these divisive tactics and join efforts toward a peaceful, multipolar world
order.

This comprehensive denunciation of Bukele’s regime and the call for an
international peace summit reflect Venezuela’s commitment to defending
human rights, sovereignty, and global justice from a left-wing,
anti-imperialist perspective.rica.
