Israeli occupation forces raid homes of prisoners’ families in exchange
deal, injuring 12 citizens

Twelve Palestinian citizens were injured by live ammunition and tear gas as
the Israeli occupation army attacked citizens in the town of Beitunia, west
of Ramallah. Meanwhile, occupation forces raided the homes of families of
prisoners who are scheduled to be released Thursday as part of the exchange
deal.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its crews dealt with 12 injuries
near the Ofer military prison located on Beitunia’s lands, including 2 from
live ammunition, 2 from rubber-coated metal bullets, and 8 from tear gas
inhalation.

Dozens of citizens gathered around the prison, waiting for the release of
the third batch of detainees from Israeli jails as part of the ceasefire
agreement.

In the meantime, Israeli occupation forces raided the homes of Palestinian
prisoners’ families from the West Bank, who are set to be released as part
of the exchange deal and the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, warning families
against holding any celebratory events.

In the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, occupation forces stormed the home
of the young man Mustafa Abu Reida and threatened his family against
celebrating his release, according to local sources.

They also raided the home of prisoner Hussein Nassar in the village of
Madama, south of Nablus. Nassar is serving a life sentence and has spent 21
years in prison, and he is scheduled to be released under the deal. Family
members of prisoner Hussein reported that occupation forces warned his
relatives against celebrating and removed some flags and banners. They also
fired tear gas and sound bombs during their raid on the town of Qusra, with
no injuries reported.

On another note, local sources confirmed that Israeli occupation forces
raided the town of Kober, northwest of Ramallah, and stormed the home of
the young prisoner Zain al-Din Issam al-Zeir, who is expected to be
released today, warning his family against holding any celebrations.

Local sources also confirmed that clashes erupted in the town of Yatma,
south of Nablus, following the incursion of occupation forces, coinciding
with the release of prisoner Munther Sunbor from Israeli prisons, who is
among those being released in the exchange deal. Additionally, occupation
forces raided the home of the oldest serving prisoner from Nablus
prisoners, Qutaiba Muslim, in the town of Talfit, south of Nablus, to
prevent celebrations of his release.

Sources confirmed that occupation forces raided the home of prisoner Ashraf
Nofal in the town of Deir Sharaf, northwest of Nablus, who is supposed to
be released under the deal.

In Jerusalem, occupation forces summoned the families of Jerusalem
prisoners due to be released today in the exchange deal at the Maskobiya
detention center. Amjad Abu Asab, head of the Jerusalem Prisoners’ Families
Committee, said that “this measure had previously been applied to the
families of Jerusalem prisoners released in the first batch, where the
occupation authorities issued warnings and threats to families that holding
or organizing any celebratory events for the release of their sons would
subject them to legal accountability.”

Occupation forces also raided the home of prisoner Mu’ab Abu Khdeir from
the town of Shufat, north of the West Bank, late at night, threatening his
father should any celebration occur, and informing him that the reception
of Mu’ab would be limited only to his parents and siblings, with occupation
forces present to ensure compliance with this warning.

Palestinian resistance released a female soldier prisoner in Jabalia,
northern Gaza Strip, along with two other Israelis and five Thais in Khan
Yunis, at noon Thursday in front of the house of the martyr leader of
Hamas, Yahya Sinwar, who was killed in a confrontation with occupation
forces.

For its part, Israel is expected to release 110 Palestinian prisoners
according to the list received by Hamas
