Hamas Movement said in a statement on Monday that the Israeli assassination
of resistance fighters in Tulkarem is a desperate attempt to eliminate
resistance, and all Palestinians must confront the crimes of the occupation
and escalate resistance in all its forms.

Hamas added that the new Israeli assassination operation, which targeted a
vehicle in the Nur Shams camp in Tulkarem today, confirms the continuation
of the crimes and massacres of the occupation in its desperate attempt to
eliminate the valiant resistance that continues to inflict losses on the
occupation with its qualitative operations.

It continued, “As we mourn the martyrs of the Qassam Brigades who fell on
the land of Tulkarem, the Qassam leader Ihab Abu Atiwi and the Qassam
fighter Ramez Dumeiri, we affirm that their pure blood will not be in vain
but will serve as a motivation for the escalation of resistance and the
continuation of its heroic operations.”

Hamas emphasized that the assassination operation, which coincides with the
intensification of the occupation’s raids in the West Bank provinces and
its continuation for the eighth day of a wide-ranging military operation in
Jenin and its refugee camp and countryside, “confirms that this frenzied
war waged by the occupation against our land and our people will not bring
security and stability to the occupation but will ignite the ground with
fires under the feet of its soldiers and settlers.”

It called on the Palestinian people in the West Bank to escalate resistance
against the occupation and its settlers within the Al-Aqsa Flood battle,
“to destabilize the security of their alleged entity.”

Two fighters from the Qassam Brigades were martyred, and three citizens
were injured in an assassination crime committed by the Israeli occupation
forces—this Monday afternoon—after their aircraft targeted a vehicle in the
Nur Shams camp in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources reported that the vehicle went up in flames after being
targeted by the occupation’s aircraft, while a martyr and an injured person
were evacuated from the scene.
