Hamas says "Israel" has committed over 800 ceasefire violations in Gaza,
killing civilians, restricting aid, and threatening the collapse of the
truce as talks on the deal’s second phase continue.
Senior Hamas official Ghazi Hamad said the Israeli occupation has
manipulated and violated every clause of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza,
warning that continued breaches are pushing the deal "to the brink of
collapse."
Hamad said mediators have confirmed that Hamas did not commit a single
violation and fully adhered to the agreement, while "Israel’s" repeated
breaches demonstrate a deliberate policy taken at the government level.
Israeli violations have included killings, summary executions, live fire
against civilians, bombardment, and assassinations. He added that
occupation forces repeatedly crossed the designated buffer zone by large
distances, at times reaching nearly two kilometers past the so-called yellow
line

.
Hamad said Israeli occupation forces have committed more than 813
violations since the ceasefire took effect, averaging around 25 violations
per day. He noted that Hamas has submitted detailed reports documenting
every breach to the mediators and the joint operations room tasked with
monitoring the agreement. "These clear and scandalous violations threaten
the agreement and place it in grave danger," Hamad said, calling on mediators
to take action

to deter the occupation from continuing its violations.
Civilian toll and ignored mechanisms
Hamad revealed that an agreed mechanism to form a committee addressing
violations was never honored by "Israel", adding that nearly 400
Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire began, with more than 95%
of the victims being civilians. He stressed that "Israel" has no right to
target Resistance fighters

while the ceasefire remains in force, adding that the occupation has
failed to present any evidence to support its repeated claims justifying
such attacks.
Hamad said Israeli forces continue daily demolitions, with 145 homes
destroyed since the agreement took effect, adding that there have been 392
shelling and targeting incidents during the same period. He also pointed to
the continued closure of the Rafah crossing since the start of the
ceasefire, noting that the occupation is preventing humanitarian cases from
traveling. The Israeli regime, he said, has blocked the entry of large
quantities of aid under the pretext of "dual-use" concerns, while imposing
restrictions on fuel and gas supplies.
He added that "Israel" continues to withhold information regarding
detainees and missing persons, warning that the ongoing violations should
not be interpreted as a sign of Palestinian weakness, saying: "We hold the
occupying state fully responsible for all violations and for manipulating
the agreement in an attempt to sabotage it."
Barrack to assess Israeli readiness
Hamad's statements come amid an expected meeting between United States
Ambassador Tom Barrack and top Israeli officials, where Barrack is expected
to assess Israeli readiness

to transition to the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire deal.
The second phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, negotiated under the US
President Donald Trump with international mediation, centers on post-war
arrangements aimed at reshaping governance, security, and the future of the
Gaza Strip. It envisions a transition from a temporary truce to a permanent
ceasefire and the complete withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from
Gaza, alongside proposals for disarming Palestinian Resistance factions and
deploying a temporary international stabilization force to oversee security
and agreed-to borders.
The phase also outlines the formation of a technocratic Palestinian
governing committee under international oversight and links large-scale
reconstruction and aid to security and demilitarization conditions.
Palestinians will handle internal security: Hossam Badran
In this context, Hamas political bureau member Hossam Badran said
Palestinians will assume full responsibility for internal security in the
Gaza Strip, while any foreign presence would be limited strictly to
monitoring the borders with the Israeli occupation.
In an interview with the Russian *Sputnik *news agency, Badran said all
Palestinian factions have agreed on a unified stance regarding any foreign
presence in Gaza, stressing that approval of an international force would
be conditional on a narrowly defined mandate restricted to monitoring the
ceasefire along the borders only.
Badran added that Palestinians would administer Gaza independently, in
cooperation with a committee of experts, to ensure internal security in the
Strip. He emphasized that international forces would have no role
whatsoever in internal security matters.
He further noted that Hamas prefers any potential international force to
include countries friendly to the Palestinian people, arguing that it is
difficult to imagine the participation of states that supported the Israeli
occupation during its latest war on Gaza.
At the same time, Badran said it has become practically clear that no
country is prepared for genuine participation, given the widely recognized
difficulty of the situation. He added, “Of course, no one wants to confront
the Palestinians.”
