Protests erupted across Arab and Western cities, demanding an end to
Israel’s war on Gaza, immediate humanitarian aid, and accountability for
genocide, with London seeing record arrests.

Arab and Western cities witnessed massive demonstrations demanding an end
to Israel’s war of extermination against the Palestinian people in Gaza and
the immediate entry of humanitarian aid to the besieged population.

In Tangier, northern Morocco, thousands rallied on Saturday evening in
support of the Palestinian cause, rejecting Israel’s policies of
displacement and starvation, Al-Jazeera reported.

Protesters chanted slogans including, “The people want to liberate
Palestine,” “Free people everywhere, no Zionists, no Americans,” and
“Palestine resists,” while condemning the international community’s failure
to stop the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

In the southern city of Agadir, demonstrators gathered under the slogan,
“Gaza… Starvation outstrips bullets… America is the enemy of Muslims and
the sponsor of Zionism.”

According to Al-Jazeera, he protest was organized by the Moroccan
Initiative for Support and Advocacy, drawing dozens of human rights
activists and citizens. Chants included, “We will never forget, Palestine
and Al-Aqsa,” “Shame on you, Gaza is being destroyed,” and “Gaza is under
siege.”

In Tunisia, hundreds from the Steadfastness Fleet and the Palestine
Supporters Association reportedly demonstrated on Saturday night in front
of the Municipal Theater, raising slogans denouncing the genocide, siege,
and starvation in Gaza.
*Protests across the World*

In Istanbul, Turkiye, thousands took part in a march titled ‘Be Hope for
Gaza,’ organized by the Palestine Support Platform, a coalition of 15 civil
society organizations, aiming to draw global attention to Israel’s crimes.

Marchers chanted, “Murderous Israel, get out of Palestine,” and “The
children of Gaza are waiting for us.”

The Dutch capital, Amsterdam, also saw large protests urging the government
to impose sanctions on Israel and sever political and military ties.
Participants vowed to continue demonstrations in the streets and outside
military facilities until their demands are met.

In Stockholm, Sweden, protesters called for an immediate ceasefire and
condemned Israel’s starvation policy and its plans to occupy and depopulate
Gaza.

They urged Western governments to impose sanctions, recognize a fully
sovereign Palestinian state, prosecute Israeli political and military
officials, and intensify boycotts.

In Geneva, Switzerland, thousands gathered in the English Garden before
marching through the city. Protesters waved Palestinian flags, chanted
slogans in English, French, and Arabic, and banged empty pots to symbolize
Gaza’s famine.

They also called for a boycott of Israel and criticized the Swiss
government for “collaborating with Israel.”

In Berlin, Germany, hundreds rallied holding signs such as “Stop the
genocide in the Gaza Strip,” “Freedom for Palestine,” and “Stop starving
Gaza.”

In Oslo, Norway, demonstrators demanded an end to the war and the delivery
of humanitarian aid.

In Chile, hundreds took part in an ‘Empty Pots’ demonstration to denounce
Israel’s starvation policy.
*Mass Arrests in London*

In London, British police arrested over 400 people on Saturday during a
protest in support of the Palestine Action group, which was banned in July
under anti-terrorism laws.

Police intervened to disperse the demonstration, where protesters carried
signs reading, “I am against genocide and I support Palestine Action.”
Authorities described it as the largest number of arrests ever recorded at
a single protest in the capital.

Palestine Action, founded in 2020, is known for direct actions aimed at
halting operations of companies that supply Israel, including disrupting
production at the Elbit Systems drone factory in Bristol.

With US backing, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October
7, 2023, through mass killing, starvation, destruction, and forced
displacement, ignoring international calls and International Court of
Justice orders to stop.

The war has killed 61,369 Palestinians, wounded 152,862 — mostly women and
children — left more than 9,000 missing, and caused famine that has claimed
many lives.
